Food: Don't Mess With Iowa

I always thought Iowans took their pork products seriously. For example, the breaded and fried pork tenderloin fritter served at most eating establishments was a new palate adventure when I moved to Iowa. Yet, I learned yesterday that not only do we take the breaded and fried pork tenderloin fritter seriously, we won't let anyone mess with our tacos. If you need clarification on this serious matter, read the article below. Don't mess.

This has got to be every fast food patrons dream... pelting the cashier in the face with a chalupa. Think of all the times you've waited in line while the cashier worked in super slow motion or the thousands of times (yeah, I eat too much fast food) they've screwed up the order. How many times do I need to tell them to "hold the lettuce?" I'm on board, let's start a Chalupa Revolution!

As a victim of a chimichanga throwing at Rio Bravo, it causes an intense fear to think that more Mexican delicacies could be thrown in my direction.

I nearly lost an eye that fateful day at Rio. Whatever happened to the man who was full of rage? Perhaps I could offer some assistance in the arrest of the chalupa assailant.

Thank god no one ever pelted me with a Regular Roast Beef sandwich when I worked at Hardee's Family Restaurant. While no physical assault was ever inflicted, the daily emotional assault is another story.....

Amanda- I do remember that a whole Subway sandwich was thrown at your windshield in Winnipeg as you were driving down the street. I guess Canadians get very angry if you don't yield to pedestrians.
