It is rare that we are emotionally affected by the passing of someone famous, but the sudden and untimely death of Tim Russert is a loss not only for us but for America too.Tim Russert was on our side. Not just on the side of the left or right, but on the side of Americans. He was one of the rare journalists that we trusted to ask politicians the questions that needed to be asked and he didn't let them leave that table without getting the answers.
