The Finger

I got flicked off tonight. I am still not quite sure why.

Tim and I were returning from a store. We were driving down our street. The pick-up in front of me slowed down, yet did not put on his signal. So, I waited patiently. Then, I realized that he wanted to back up into his driveway so I reversed to give him some more room. As he pulled in, he shot me his middle finger.

I was shocked. I had no idea what I had done to receive this gesture. I asked Tim and he was confused too. He couldn't think of any reason that this guy should have done this.

What I should have done is pull over and ask him why he did that, but who knows? He could have been a violent individual and I just wanted to know.

I have no idea. What do you think?

Oh no... you need to learn now that when you get to Philly, you NEVER get out of the car and question someone's choice of gesture. You'll get shot.

(Okay, maybe not shot, but you never know...)

Some people are just rude, though, no matter where you are. I guess he expected you to be a mind reader.

i agree.

bottom line? you have no time for a rude individual with some road rage issues.

although this probably isn't a good idea either, i probably would've put the hugest smile on my face and waved like he was my best friend....just cause it would have made me laugh.

i'm evil.

:-)

email to come shortly although you aren't going to like the answer. :-(

Perhaps you were following too close behind? Sometimes that pisses people off. Just a guess.

Then again, he could have been a crappy SOB. They are out there :)
