This is our new house. Maybe. It has to pass the house inspection and then, it is ours.
Tim and I have never owned a house. We've been renters for a number of reasons. We've never thought about mortages, paint samples, and yard work, but that will soon change.
If all goes well, we'll be in our house by Thanksgiving. I couldn't be happier. Well, I could be happier if we have a perfect inspection.

Great looking house Sara, congratulations to you and Tim!
Wow, Sara! How exciting. Buying a house is so exciting.
Be careful with the home inspection. We had a highly recommended inspector from my husband's company -- and the inspector missed over $30K in essential repairs. We leaned on him, and didn't look closely ourselves -- and in the end -- it was our problem (though we came out ahead in the end). All the inspector did was refund our inspection fee. Gee, nice! So you both need to take close looks, ask tough questions and demand good answers -- and don't settle for anything less :)
I hope it all goes smoothly, and you are in it before the holidays :)
Congratulations! It looks like a wonderful house.
lovely!
i'm so happy for you two! I'll be hoping for a great inspection! :-)
Congrats! It looks very nice! It's so nice to be able to decorate a place that feels permanent. We're very happy for you guys!
Congratulations! While homeownership has its problems, it also has great rewards.
This house is great! I would love to see it on my visit, providing all goes well--even if it's just from the outside. I'm so happy for you two.
