Spooky!

Happy Halloween! I carved this beauty myself. We enjoyed a weekend in Minneapolis. We experienced Halloween with our friends, the Jaegers and their four year old daughter Emily. It had been years since I had carved a pumpkin, but I loved it. I loved it so much that I carved three, a scary pumpkin (see photo), a happy pumpkin, and a cat. I will not be one of those people who are against Halloween.

WOW! What a great job. I haven't carved a pumpkin in years! I haven't seen a trick-or-treater in years either. Seven to be exact -- since we moved here. They don't come down our street. The houses are often empty and it is too far down to each front door to make it worth it. Too much walking - so they all go into town to the subdivisions where the getting is good- - and we are left quietly behind.

Great comment on my blog about the "vote responsibly" crap. I agree, totally! Good one :)
